About the Event
It's that time of year again! 🌳
Join One Tree Planted and the Houston Parks and Recreation Department for a Saturday morning of tree planting and restoration within a forested riparian buffer.
Meeting point:
What to bring:
- Your face mask
- Long Pants
- Closed toe shoes
- Reusable water bottle
- Sun protection (if needed)
- Rain gear (if needed)
- Due to COVID-19 safety measures, we are asking that all volunteers bring their own water and food for the morning's activities.
***Note***: This event will be taking place following all governmental regulations and recommendations in terms of preventing the spread of COVID-19. We are accepting a limited amount of volunteers this year, and everyone attending the event must wear a face mask and maintain a distance of 6 feet apart. Volunteers will also have to sign an email waiver prior to the event and trees will be spaced 10 feet apart.
Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. The guardian will need to sign a waiver.
Due to limited spaces, there is a limit of two tickets per person this year.
